This is an experiment of collaborating with AI to envision the future of advertising and new concept of food.
Inspired by the biodiversity, vascular shapes and otherworldly travel experience in Hoh Rainforest, I imagine a new form of futuristic molecular gastronomy using artificial intelligence. By processing my photos and art direction through AI, I generated visual outputs, which served as the raw material for me to create a fictional advertising campaign.

Research
Machines not only play the role of an assistant, but as “augmented imagination”
Based on the experimentations with AI generative toolkits, I found out it is important to tell AI more subjective and sensorial prompts to get rid of general outputs. For the visual aspect, the aesthetic style would be very enchanting while using my own photos as one of the inputs.

Intrigued by the biodiversity, vascular shapes, and otherworldly travel experience in Hoh Rainforest, I decided to concentrate on the futuristic molecular gastronomy concept design based on it and create an advertising website to showcase the new product to people.
Idea Generation
I started with brainstorming personal interests and some descriptive words related to my expected outcomes. Then I narrowed down the category and came up with an idea of combining nature, food and art direction together.
Image Generation
Using my own photography as one of the inputs, I put prompts related to the creative direction which I concluded in the idea generation. With multiple rounds of generation based on my aesthetics, I got the ideal product concept images.
