Inspired by the strong wind and early dark hours during the winter in Chicago, I transform this negative condition into an art form using sensors and light. The changes of light follow the rhythm of the movement of the wind. This outdoor installation could also be a new form of streetlight which passes on warmth through the shifting colors and serves as a companion for people walking outside during those winter days.
